Took a quick road trip out through the Limestone this past weekend to do some hiking on South Mountain. This trip took me past a few freestone creeks as well as the beloved limestone streams. Lots of ice on the freestone streams with all the cold weather we have been having, but those Limestone Streams were looking wonderful. The water levels are really up, but perfect. The color is translucent green with about 2 feet of visibiltiy in the lower sections. This is the time of the year when big things attract the big browns! If you get a chance skip work and take the drive out to the Letort or Yellow Breeches. You will have the fish to yourself.
Welcome to the site and thank you for stopping by. We are really excited to get things off the ground and to have a place to share our passions with you. Drop us a note and let us know you have been by the site. Let us know what we can do to improve as well as how we can help you become a better fisherman or woman.
Now get out there, find some open water, and catch some fish. The spring creeks are looking fantastic!!
Bill Somma is a fisherman in the truest sense. He fishes everywhere, all the time. He catches more fish than anyone I have ever seen, and in any conditions. Not only that, but he can teach you his skills faster than anyone I have ever met. Contact him for a guided trip on the Salmon River in NY.
